Jorge
Milonguero from Buenos Aires, Jorge Olguín is a tango dancer, master choreographer, teacher and judge of competitive tango. In 2015, 2016 and 2019, Jorge was a semi-finalist in three categories (ballroom tango, milonga and waltz) at the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Championship and champion at the La Cumparcita Tango Festival in Buenos Aires.
Jorge is the director of the “Unidos por el Tango” ballet academy in Argentina, where classical dance has always been central to his life. His passion for Argentine tango arises from its expressive movement and intricate complexity.
For over 30 years, Jorge has been a dedicated ambassador of tango, ballroom teaching, stage and folk styles internationally. In Jorge’s classes, emphasis is placed on a comfortable hug, a clear connection with the partner, and exquisite technique. Known for his encouraging and observant teaching style, Jorge ensures that each class is a memorable experience.
Currently based in Vancouver, Canada, Jorge teaches group and private classes, organizes milongas, and organizes tango festivals. He continues to inspire the global tango community through workshops held around the world.

Sigita
Sigita Lemesiute is a Tango dancer, performer & instructor, based in Vancouver, BC. Sigita’s passion for music started in her early childhood and was strongly influenced by the sounds of accordion played by her mother. In 2011, while studying piano, Sigita has discovered Tango music that has completely captured her heart. Since then, she has travelled to Buenos Aires to explore the secrets of this dance and has participated in various festivals in Canada, Italy, Spain and Argentina. She had an honour to perform at the historical Cultch Theatre in Vancouver, the Argentinian Consulate, the magnificent Carnaval del Sol Festival, Vancouver Polo Festival and various fundraising events in Canada. Sigita has been sharing her passion for tango with Vancouver community through teaching and events at her Tango Mind School. Sigita’s approach to tango dance features the importance of a present moment, the ability to sincerely care and truly listen to the human beside us.

Koichiro Suzuki

Koichiro Suzuki has a Master’s Degree in Performance Music at Duquesne University and performs with the internationally renowned River City Brass Band, the only active professional brass band in the United States. Koichiro incorporates his complex music background and deep understanding of musicality into his DJing.
Koichiro DJs regularly at milongas in Pittsburgh, and has DJed in other cities in the United States and Canada. In addition, the past few years, Koichiro was invited to DJ in Buenos Aires at Milonga Tango Club, Club Fulgor, Villa Crespo and Tango en Huracan, Club Atletico Milonguero, Parque Patricios.
Jean Sebastien
Montreal, QC
Jean-Sebastien turned to Tango after many years of Salsa, Ballroom and Latin dances, and quickly grew into a strongly committed and very musical social dancer. The beauty and complexity of Tango music motivated him to learn more about it and to understand what was involved in DJing. Jean-Sebastien now teaches and DJs in Montreal on a regular basis. He has been Redlight milonga‘s resident DJ through 2014-15 and had many opportunities to DJ abroad (Boston, Toronto and Paris are a few examples). He is skilled in setting up strictly traditional tango evenings, as well as mixed-music events. He is known to bring only high quality music, selected mostly out of the Golden Age repertoire, arranged with careful balance through the evening and a particular concern for the dancers’ creative and emotional experiences.

Valentin has dozens of years of tango experience. While progressing through his tango life he has had the chance to observe and learn from DJs around the globe, participated in various DJ discussion groups and constantly discovers new tango tunes. Valentin DJed at different venues in US, Canada and Europe. He creates an unique atmosphere on the dance floor by carefully selecting golden hits and uncovers charming tango tracks suitable for every style.
Igor El Espejero

Igor El Espejero started dancing tango in 2011, and DJing in 2012. Since then he has been invited to play his music to over 300 milongas and events in London, Dublin, Bruges, Buffalo, Boston, Cleveland, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Riga, Vilnius, Minsk, Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipro, Nis, Antalya, Shanghai, Taipei, and Buenos Aires (Salon Canning and Club Fulgor), while actively DJing at various milonga venues and organizing own events in Toronto, the city of his residence, keeping the tango alive throughout the stormy 2020-2021 seasons.
His musical style is influenced by the abundant energy of the best Italian tango DJs, and by the profound and sensual musical selection of the younger generation of Buenos Aires musicalizadors. Igor also has deeply immersed himself into the craft of sound engineering. His articles and webinars on the various technical aspects of tango DJing are well known around the world.

Since 2007, Berenice has been inspiring dancers at milongas in Toronto and beyond. A long-time fan of tango music, her vast knowledge, intuitive approach, and careful selections combine to create unforgettable dance experiences that keep her in high demand. DJ Bere is also a highly accomplished tango dancer who understands her audience; she is able to read a floor and keep it moving. Considered one of the best DJs in Canada, she is in constant demand at both new and established milongas in Toronto & Montreal and has acted as house DJ for various local milongas. She has also DJ’ed at high-profile tango events, including the Toronto Tango Festival, Toronto Tango Marathon & Toronto Tango Experience.
